Official "Pilgrimage 21" Devotional Print
Project Pilgrimage 21 is a decentralized international medieval event organized by the Company of Saynt George, which connects reenactors and friends of living history all over the world in spring 2021. – from the Company's webpage
To commemorate the international event #pilgrimage21, we at Prelo Prints are making a special devotional woodblock print, depicting St. Corona and St. Roch. These kinds of votive prints with Saints were popular in the 15th century and sometimes sold as souvenirs at pilgrimage sites.
The image was cut on a cherrywood block, and it will be hand printed on handmade linen laid paper. These prints are not ready yet and are expected to ship before the 1st of May 2021, to give time for the participants to have them at the end of their pilgrimage.
